MIAMI
ASA 101 - BASIC KEELBOAT SAILING COURSE
LOCATION: Miami Yacht Club
DURATION: Two Day Course. No experience necessary.
WHEN: January 2022
PRICE: $649 per seat. MAXIMUM 4 PEOPLE ACCEPTED!
WHAT: Step aboard and learn to sail our Seaward Hake 25. This course covers knowledge of basic sailing terminology, parts and functions, helm commands, basic sail trim, points of sail, buoyage, seamanship and safety including basic navigation rules to avoid collisions and hazards. Classes run from roughly 10 am to 6 pm.
Practicing your new skills after completing this introductory course are imperative to become a successful sailor. Check out our rental options or group lessons to get more sea time.
WHAT’S INCLUDED: Price includes one-year membership to the American Sailing Association and Sailing Made Easy text book for each seat.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED: Airfare and ground transportation, lodging, food and beverages are not included.
KEY WEST
ASA 101 & 103 COMBO LIVEABOARD COURSE
LOCATION: The Perry Hotel & Marina Village, Key West
DURATION: Three Day Course. Recommended for those with recent sailing experience.

WHAT: This course combines into an exciting 3 day live aboard course aboard a 38ft Dufour 3 cabin monohull with both curriculums: ASA 101 - BASIC KEELBOAT SAILING COURSE and ASA 103 - BASIC COASTAL CRUISING
It’s an efficient way to learn without losing any momentum, with the added benefit of a cost savings over taking 101 & 103 separately. Great for fast learners, those who have prior sailing experience, and those and have spent some time studying theory and are looking to tie together their experience.
WHAT’S INCLUDED: Price includes one-year membership to the American Sailing Association, Sailing Made Easy text book, and Coastal Cruising Made Easy Text book for each seat. Lodging is included on board of our 2016 Dufour 382GL monohull cruising sailboat.
