LOCATION: West Coast Florida
DURATION: 5 Day Course. Recommended for beginners and those with some sailing experience. If you have previously taken a 101 course it would be a great review and further increase your sailing knowledge

PRICE: $2900 per person( single cabin occupancy, a cabin to yourself). $2500 per person double occupancy( $5000 for 2 people one cabin)
WHAT: This course combines into an exciting 5 day live aboard course aboard a 38ft Dufour 3 cabin monohull with the curriculums: ASA 101 - BASIC KEELBOAT SAILING COURSE and ASA 103 - BASIC COASTAL CRUISING and ASA 104 - BAREBOAT CRUISING
It’s an efficient way to learn without losing any momentum, with the added benefit of a cost savings over taking 101,103 & 104 separately. Great for fast learners, those who have prior sailing experience, and those and have spent some time studying theory and are looking to tie together their experience and beginners.
WHAT’S INCLUDED: Price includes one-year membership to the American Sailing Association, Sailing Made Easy, Coastal Cruising Made Easy and Bareboat Cruising Text books for each seat. Lodging is included on board of our 2016 Dufour 382GL monohull cruising sailboat.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED: Airfare and ground transportation, lodging, food and beverages are not included.

ASA 101 - BASIC KEELBOAT SAILING COURSE
LOCATION: Miami Yacht Club
DURATION: Two Day Course. No experience necessary
WHEN: Winter 2023/ Spring 2024
PRICE: MAXIMUM 4 PEOPLE ACCEPTED!
WHAT: Step aboard and learn to sail our Hobie 33 high performance sailboat. This course covers knowledge of basic sailing terminology, parts and functions, helm commands, basic sail trim, points of sail, buoyage, seamanship and safety including basic navigation rules to avoid collisions and hazards. Classes run from roughly 10 am to 6 pm.
Practicing your new skills after completing this introductory course are imperative to become a successful sailor. Check out our rental options or group lessons to get more sea time..
